If you have enough experience about the blockchain and crypto market, you probably know the significance of mainnet for a cryptocurrency. I am not an expert, just an enthusiast but I had my share enough as positive and negative sides and my motivation had a comeback thanks to Elrond. But I know enough how important having a mainnet for a blockchain-based, cryptocurrency driven project. And in this text, you’ll see my opinions about Elrond mainnet launch and why it is different, unique and provides enormous potential.
First of all, I must say that we’ve seen an incredibly vast number of mainnet launches before and some of them were undoubtedly successful. However, most of them, well, not that successful. Even some of them drifted its project for perishment as a matter of fact. Some of them tasted this fate due to lack of a test for security. Some of them were forced to annihilation because they didn’t take precautions according to economical attacks or possible other defects. We can expand this list easily but the fundamental reason for that extinction was always the same: Lack of concern of project executors and teams.
Elrond, on the other hand, has been preparing for its own mainnet launch for quite a while and like the other projects, prior to mainnet launches, it’s getting some rusty voices and grunting. People are impatient and mainnet launch is delicate. These two musn’t come excessively closer, you see. So, ignoring the negative vibes, Elrond defined three conditions which must be met without a tiny bit of deficiency.
After those pillars of Genesis are met, then the launch of the mainnet is just what will happen. They want it flawless and this is what must be apreciated most instead of complaining about the time.
Just think about it: You are a huge investor of anything and you have big expectations about it. What must happen? Will you be able to be patient and wait for it to reach its potential or will you push it hard to accelerate things which may actually cause catastrophic results as we can see countless examples?
I trust Elrond as a whole project and I am willing to wait for it till the end. I recommend all the community members and outsider investors the same since Elrond has a great and bright future as it’s been providing from the very beginning.
